1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or purchasing our products/services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable United States laws. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Business Services Provided

Metal Wood Studios specializes in:

  • Custom furniture design & manufacturing

  • Furniture repair, refinishing & restoration

  • Antique furniture restoration & servicing

Every project is based on a mutually approved estimate or invoice.

3. Quotes, Orders & Deposits

  • Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to begin custom orders or restoration projects

  • Work begins only after approval of design and materials

Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and extended timelines.

4. Payments & Pricing

  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD)

  • The remaining balance must be paid before delivery or release of product

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to material cost changes

Accepted payment methods: Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, Online Billing (as applicable)

5. Production & Delivery

  • Delivery estimates may vary depending on workload and material availability

  • Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery access details (stairs, elevators, etc.)

  • Risk of damage transfers to the customer upon delivery or pickup

Metal Wood Studios is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, weather conditions, supplier shortages, or force majeure events.

6. Custom Furniture Policy

Because custom and made-to-order pieces are created specifically for the customer:

  • No cancellations or refunds after production begins

  • No returns for:

    • Personal preference changes

    • Size/measurement errors provided by customers

    • Natural variations in wood/metal (grain pattern, texture, knots, slight color variations)

These characteristics make each piece unique and are not defects.

7. Repairs & Restoration Limitations

For repairs or antique restoration:

  • Pre-existing structural weaknesses may affect the final result

  • Full restoration to “original factory condition” is not guaranteed

  • Hidden damage (e.g., pests, rot) may require added charges upon discovery

All changes will be communicated before proceeding.

8. Limited Warranty

We offer a limited workmanship warranty for 30 days after delivery, covering:

✔ Craftsmanship issues
✔ Manufacturing defects in joinery or finishing

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper maintenance or misuse

  • Water, heat, or humidity damage

  • Accidental or environmental damage

  • Third-party transport or installation issues

9. Order Cancellation

  • Orders canceled before materials are sourced may qualify for partial refund

  • Orders canceled after work has begun will forfeit the deposit and may incur additional labor/material charges

10. Returns & Refunds

All return and refund requests are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy located on our website.

11. Intellectual Property

All:

  • Designs

  • Photos

  • Logos

  • Custom plans

  • Website content

are the intellectual property of Metal Wood Studios and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by US law:

Metal Wood Studios is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss caused by misuse of the product

  • Damages resulting from third-party delivery or installation

Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by the customer.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado.

Any dispute will be resolved in state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately once posted to this page.
